- The person is such that he/she is not likely to get help from relatives or other sources for their desired purpose.
- The person must be hungry for growth in educational pursuit and attainment.
The applicant must meet the following criteria:
- Be a secondary school student on the verge of dropping out due to financial difficulties but highly determined to continue their education
- With a record of very good academic performance in WASCE, NECO, or JAMB.
- An undergraduate in true financial need.
- Provide evidence of having secured or being eligible to secure admission into a tertiary institution.
